The closing ceremony of Eurocrane’s 15th Annual Basketball Tournament concluded successfully at the indoor basketball court at the company headquarters. Ms. Ou Yan, HR Manager of Eurocrane, attended the event in person and presented awards to the teams on the podium, recognizing all participating players for their dedication and hard work throughout the tournament.

Despite the summer heat and persistently high temperatures, the players’ enthusiasm remained undiminished. Through multiple intense rounds of competition, every team gave their all and competed with determination. After a series of fierce matches, the Service Centre Team claimed the championship, the Novocrane Business Division secured second place, and the Technical Centre Team finished third. Now let’s take a look at some of the most memorable highlights from the competition.

The Service Centre Team claimed the championship once again. Team core players Chen Wei and Yuan Zhidong have played side by side for a full decade. Their years of collaboration have built exceptional chemistry in passing, positioning, and offensive-defensive coordination, making them the key to the team’s consistent scoring. This year, the Service Department also welcomed several new players, among whom Hao Peiyao delivered an outstanding three-point shooting performance in a single game, repeatedly widening the score gap with long-range shots.

This year, the Novocrane Business Division also gained new and eager members, officially welcoming young player Wang Yongshun to the team. A graduate of a prestigious “985” university, Wang is known for his dedication and diligence in daily work, and he also delivered an impressive performance in this tournament, sinking 14 three-pointers in a single game. Despite experiencing physical discomfort during the competition, he persevered and completed every match with the team without once considering withdrawal, fully demonstrating a competitive spirit of resilience and determination.

The Technical Center Team welcomed the return of veteran player Gao Tao, who reunited with longtime teammate Hou Kai after ten years of partnership. Leveraging their height advantage, the pair effectively controlled the court and successfully limited opponents’ offensive plays. Other standout performances also emerged within the team: Xiao Yi repeatedly broke through the defense to score, while Shi Jutong consistently delivered under pressure, relying on steady jump shots during critical moments to secure key points for the team.

Apart from the three award-winning teams, all participating teams demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and competitive spirit. Regardless of the score, every player worked together, fought hard, and continued pushing until the very last second of each game.

This year’s basketball tournament once again was hosted both online and offline, allowing the people on-site to experience the excitement firsthand, while our livestreaming channel let others follow the matches in real time.
