Eurocrane contributes to the country’s key scientific and technological construction

China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS), a national key scientific and technological infrastructure project undertaken by the Institute for High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, passed the national inspection and acceptance successfully on August 23 this year. To express gratitude to partners making important contributions to CSNS construction, Dongguan Branch of IHEP held an appreciation meeting on the completion of CSNS project on September 26. Eurocrane (China) Co., Ltd. was commended as an important contributing and participating unit. The meeting was hosted by Ma Li, Executive Deputy Manager of CSNS. General Director of the project and CAS Academician, Chen Hesheng, made a summary report on the progress of the project and presented plaques and certificates of honor to contractors, together with Chen Yuanbo and Xi Jiwei, Deputy Managers of the project.

From 2011 to 2018, CSNS was undertaken by IHEP of CAS and co-built by the Institute of Physics, with a total investment was about RMB 2.3 billion. Upon completion, CSNS became China’s first and the world’s fourth pulsed spallation neutron source, filled the gap of pulsed neutron applications in China, provided powerful techniques for fundamental research and hi-tech development of China’s material science, life science, resources, environment and new energy, etc. It was of great significance for satisfying China’s key strategic demands and solving problems in frontier science.

It is a great honor for Eurocrane to contribute its own strength to the country’s key scientific and technological construction.
